Our Process
1. Walk the rooms. Confirm square footage, baseboard preferences, and any tricky transitions or stairs.
2. Protect what stays. Plastic at doorways, padding around cabinetry and stair newels, clean pathways to the truck.
3. Pull the floor. Carpet cut into manageable strips, rolled and bagged. Pad bagged. Tack strips pried up. Staples pulled or hammered flush.
4. Sweep and haul. Subfloor swept, debris loaded out the same day, walk-through with you before we leave.
Why Clean Removal Matters Before New Flooring
LVP, engineered wood, and floating floors need a flat subfloor with nothing protruding. A single missed staple telegraphs through LVP. A missed tack-strip nail can split a hardwood plank. The 30 minutes spent doing the final sweep right is the difference between a clean install and a callback.

- Can you save the baseboards?
- Yes, on request. Tell us during the estimate and we'll pull them carefully and label by wall so they go right back where they came from.
- What about pet stains, odor, or damaged subfloor?
- We flag any subfloor damage or odor issues we find and recommend a sealing or treatment step before new flooring goes down. If you want us to handle it, we'll quote it as a separate line item.
- Do you haul off the old carpet?
- Yes. Rolled, bagged, and trucked out the same day. No piles in the driveway and no dumpster needed for typical residential jobs.
